The mother of six-year-old daughter Sadie, also revealed she has changed her diet, telling Today she stays away from foods filled with chemicals and eats 100 percent organic.
“Organic is expensive,” Christina revealed. “I get that. I don’t want to alienate anyone who can’t pay for that. But maybe skip your morning latte and get organic vegetables for the week…We grow our own vegetables. That’s not an option for everyone, but just get a tomato plant!”
Christina also makes an effort to reduce stress in her life, something she calls a “big killer.”
“I used to be a stressed out person,” Applegate told Today. “I’m not anymore…I keep my life really simple. I’m very fortunate right now to have that freedom not to work…I love my life right now. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to take a minute and it’s been wonderful.”
