Big Bang Theory Star Shares Christmas Struggles

She may be a star on one of the hottest TV shows, but The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik isn’t immune to feeling a little down over Christmas – a time when many people struggle with depression.
The actress took to social media to openly share her struggles, writing in an Instagram post on Christmas Eve, “The government is in a shutdown, it’s Christmas Eve day, I’m newly single and not doing so well to be quite honest. But the most pressing issue right now is that my cats – after 2 years together – have started a dominance war that involves urine and feces. Long story short my bed is not able to be slept in and I’m sleeping on my couch. Just keeping you updated as to my life here. Happy Erev Christmas!”
Mayim’s post garnered messages of support from her many 3 million followers, who were no doubt relieved to read the actress was feeling much better by the time Christmas Day rolled around.
“Better this morning,” Mayim shared before revealing she had put the cat on medication for a kidney infection and was heading out to catch a movie and eat Chinese food because that’s “what jews do on xmas!”
