Beautiful Size 14 Model Featured in New David’s Bridal Campaign

David’s Bridal chose to feature a model more representative of their average customer for their Spring 2016 collection campaign. You won’t see a stick-thin model in the new campaign, the bridal company instead opting for a more realistic look reflecting the average customer who shops at their stores, a size 14.

Model Mercy Watson was chosen to showcase the collection, seen in photographs in beautiful flowing gowns.

The company’s Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice president Trevor Lunn explained to People magazine why he felt compelled to use a model more representative of his customer population. “We recognize that our customers are all different sizes and silhouettes and felt it was important to reflect this diversity in our ad campaign creative.”

He adds, “We are proud that these images further reinforce our commitment to helping every bride-to-be find the gown of her dreams, regardless of her shape, style or budget and are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with a model as beautiful as Mercy.”
