University Study Will Pay Participants to Eat Avocados

Do you love avocados? Would you love to find out whether they are the key to losing weight? If so, several U.S. universities have the perfect role for you which could land an $300 extra dollars in your pocket.
Loma Linda University, Penn State University, Tufts University and the University of California, Los Angeles are each seeking 250 avocado lovers to participate in a study that will test the hypothesis eating avocados could aid in weight loss and help people lose belly fat.
According to Business Insider, participants will be divided into two test groups with one eating one avocado per day during the six-month test period and the other group eating a total of only two avocados during the six months. Those in the non-avocado group will be given 24 avocados as compensation at the end of the study period so they don’t miss out!
Participants will receive a free health screening from LLU clinicians and $300 in compensation.
To apply participants must be 25-years or older and measure at least 40 inches around the waist if they are male and at least 35 inches around the waist if they are female.
