Travel+Leisure Announces the 2018 Destination of the Year

Travel+Leisure have announced their 2018 Destination of the Year and it’s a place on the bucket list of many travelers. When picking a country to travel to, tourists are looking for a variety of things – a rich history, fantastic food, a unique and interesting culture, stunning scenery and the opportunity to indulge in a lifestyle completely different from what we are used to. Given those criteria it’s no wonder Japan has been chosen as Travel+Leisure’s Destination of the Year for 2018.

Recent past winners of Travel+Leisure’s Destination of the Year include Portugal and Canada.
