Comedian Reveals Wife has Brain Tumor

Comedian Jim Gaffigan has revealed his wife and writing partner, Jeannie Gaffigan, underwent emergency surgery to remove a life-threatening brain tumor. Gaffigan revealed on social media, “Two weeks ago an MRI revealed @jeanniegaffigan had a large tumor around her brain stem that was life threatening. After nine hours of urgent surgery the tumor was completely removed. We thank you for your continued prayers.”

The couple have five children together. Following the surgery Jeannie posted an update to her Instagram page saying, “I’m coming back! Thanks for your prayers! I’m alive!” Jim also posted an update showing their adorable younger children taking care of a recovering Jeannie.
